Where Will I Live?
There are two ways that we look to serve out of town students. First, we provide an opportunity to connect with other students to rent an apartment together for nine months. Second, at times, we are able to provide a Home Opener (family to live with) during the year.
What Will My Schedule Look Like?
First year students are in class Tuesdays through Fridays from 8:15am until 12:15am. Every week is treated like a seminar, with one theme, and one expert teacher. From 8am to 9am, we have Prayer and Worship. From 9am until 12:15, we have four 40 minute sessions, with some breaks in between. We also require that every student serves in ministry and attends a campus/church every week.
The rest of the week is free for students to work a job, serve in ministry, or take extra online courses as they desire.
Life in Pittsburgh
Pittsburgh is has consistently been ranked as one of the most livable cities in the United States. From its rolling hills, to three rivers, to many bridges, Pittsburgh has an unrated beauty and appeal. It is home to the six time Super Bowl Champion Steelers, as well as to the Pirates and Stanley Cup Penguins. There are also many cultural enrichment locations from its many parks, to its Symphony, Opera, and Performing Arts Theaters. There is so much to do all throughout this region.
